Very nice. I wonder how a color is chosen for the year (just because I am curious, nothing else).

Don't know where this palette gets the color from but Pantone makes a huge fuss out of it, see https://www.pantone.com/articles/color-of-the-year.

Since the year 2000, a famous company dedicated to color, publishes in December what they consider the color of the year. Occasionally they publish 2 that serve in combination of harmony. This, I clarify, has no relation with the fashionable colors for the clothing industry.
