Description

This 2D barcode generator Calc Add-in - presented by Arrow Systems Co. - appears as a function in Calc "GENBARCODE" that has 2 parameters; the path where the generated .png file will be saved, and the information that will be 2D barcode encoded. The function supports UTF-8 character encoding. After adding the extension through the extension manager, the user will find a new function added called "GENBARCODE". To use the function, choose 2 cells and put the valid path where you want the generated 2D barcode .png picture to be saved (ex. c:\barcode\) in one cell, and put the content that you would like to be encoded in the other cell. Then you choose a cell to apply the function at and click the function button (ex. www.arrow-systems.com), select "GENBARCODE", select the 2 cells that hold the required data for the function (path and content), apply the function, and if no error the file is now added at the desired path and the character "0" will appear in the cell where the function was applied.
