Description
- If the range contains already entered cells, it will abort.
- If the range is abnormally large, a warning dialog box is displayed. (10000 cells)
- A dialog box for entering Start and Step numbers is displayed, so enter any number.
- Randomly fill an arithmetic sequence in the selection.
- The command is in the menu.
- Menu > Tools > Add-Ons > Fill Rand

I am open to adding functionality upon request, to the best of my understanding.
(I was able to create a sequence of 1000000 numbers in less than 1 second using the standard Python module.)
Analysts who need special random numbers should be using "Python" when they use "Calc", so I don't think I need to help them, but I will consider adding the functionality if there is a note that it is needed.
Right now I have no idea what kind of things are needed.

I don't know what your post means,
If you say that this extension is meaningless because it can be easily achieved by devising the "Rand function", I say that is true.

Your contributions are definitely not meaningless. At least it's an educational gem. But you could also enhance it to provide different types randomness, for example a normal, "Gaussian" distribution.
