SuperbChemistry
This extension applies superscript and subscript formatting to chemical formulas in Writer documents in bulk.
latest release: 2024-03-21 15:20:43
Description
This extension applies superscript and subscript formatting to chemical formulas in Writer documents in bulk. For example, if you run it on a portion of your document that contains "SO42-", that text will be converted to "SO42−". Go to "Tools" -> "Add-Ons" (at the bottom) -> "SuperbChemistry: Format selection or document" to format the selection (if you have text selected) or otherwise the entire document. Much more information is maintained on the extension's page on my web site.

Release | Description | Compatibility | Operating Systems | License | Release notes | Updated | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
SuperbChemistry 3.1 | CC0 | Fixes a bug where the "3" in a formula like Mg3(PO4)2 was not formatted. | 2022-10-15 20:45:49 | Download | |||
SuperbChemistry 3.0 | CC0 | I have tested the extension on libreoffice-6.4.6.2-1.fc32 (Fedora Linux 32). I have not researched the minimum LibreOffice version on which it works, nor have I tested it on other OSes (although I foresee no reason why it wouldn't work). | 2020-09-10 19:51:39 | Download |

Really superb - saves much time when writing a document with many chemical formulas and equations.
