Project Description

Create with Photo Album, using just four clicks, a slideshow from a folder of pictures with random fades automatically applied between slides, and the slideshow set to loop continuously.

This is a modification of a Openoffice.org extension (http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/project/PhotoAlbum). The original extension did not sort the images when inserting them into the presentation. A patch was posted on that extension's page that has been incorporated into this extension.

The original extension by jnavrati had the following history: "This Photo Album extension is based on the original Photo Album Creator by Russ Phillips, modified to be suitable as an extension among other improvements."

To install:

  • In the menu "Tools" -> "Extension Manager", click "Add" and choose the oxt file.
  • Restart Libreoffice
  • There should now be "Tools" -> "Add Ons" -> "Create Photo Album"

Note: The metadata (The name and description of the extension in the extension manager) may be incorrect. If it is, the extension still installed properly.
