0 0

Ladin (Ladin: Ladin, Italian: Ladino, German: Ladinisch), is a language consisting of a group of dialects (which some consider part of a unitary Rhaeto-Romance language) mainly spoken in the Dolomite Mountains in Northern Italy in South Tyrol, the Trentino and the province of Belluno. It is closely related to the Swiss Romansh and Friulian. We are at work to building Ladin Writing Aids extensions for ladins dialects (Wikipedia, Article: "Ladin language")

Project Description

The project is a collaboration of several instances to provide Ladin Writing Aids for Ladin dialects in LibreOffice. The dictionary is provided by Istitut Ladin Micurà de Rü and Carlo Zoli(Smallcodes). The integration in LibreOffice is created by Domingo Sacristán Valdezate(SGV). The Ladin Cultural Institute "Micurà de Rü" published during the last years the dictionary "German - Ladin (Gardena Valley)" and the dictionary "German - Ladin (Badia Valley)" in the printed version and on CD-ROM . Furthermore the dictionaries "German - Ladin (Gardena Valley)" and "German - Ladin (Badia Valley)" were put in internet in order to be accessible for all who are interested in consulting it. For more information visit the website from institut: "http://www.micura.it/en/activities/dictionaries" Several institutions in South Tirol have adopted LibreOffice as Office Suite, we want to offer them some help for the production of texts in Ladin language.
