Quickbooks Deposit Slip

0 4

This is a LibreOffice template that produces a commercial banking deposit slip designed for use with Quick Books.

Project Description

The template should be modified with your banking information, and should produce a blank deposit slip suited for Quickbooks. I have Quickbooks Pro 2008, that I use in a virtual box on a linux host, and the template works fine with my Quickbooks, it should work with most versions. If you use LibreOffice to print the template, you can then switch to your Quickbooks software and print deposits without buying deposit slips. Its pretty basic, but it works. You will need a special font, a MICR Encoding Font. You can download it here: If you are using Windows, I'm sorry. The following process will install the font if you are using Ubuntu 10.10. The font will download in a zip file. When you extract the file you should have a file named , right click on the font file and you should have the option to view the file with a application called Font Viewer. Select Font Viewer, and when you open the file you will notice a button in the bottom right hand corner that says, "install font", click on the button and the font is installed. After installing the micr encoding font you can use the template. Feel free to improve on it. I didn't have much time to spend on it. I might do a better one in the future.
