DCM Direct Colour Management

1 0

Direct Colour Management is used to change the colours of one or more objects or texts directly, not by assignment of a colour from the palette.

Project Description

Direct Colour Management is used to change the colours of one or more objects or texts directly, not by assignment of a colour from the palette, which therefore will not be encumbered by colours you need only once. Moreover, you can readjust a colour, starting from the current colour, and are not obliged to start from scratch again. You select the colours in DCM primarily not by setting the red, green and blue values, because it is difficult to estimate the results of changing one of these components, but rather by setting the three parameters H = Hue, S = Saturation and V = Value. DCM adds a button to several toolbars and an entry to the format menu. Texts and help are available in english, german and french. The extension has been tested with LibreOffice 4.2.6 and Apache OpenOffice 4.1.0, but should work with other releases, at least starting with 3.1.

In rel. 1.1.2 the setting of paragraph background colour was deactivated, because it was no longer possible to set this attribute (bug #99125). Now a workaround has been found (thanks to Tibor Kovács), so setting the background colour is again available.

This version should be used only for LibreOffice. There is a bug in LO which prevents the setting of the paragraph background colour via program inWriter. This feature is therefore temporarily inactive. Some minor amendments for special cases.

Choice for cell colour is also offered if the cursor is just within a text table cell. Some cases where "no colour" was shown are now handled exactly. The choice "no colour" was added, for completeness sake.
