Description

This extension provides a spelling dictionary and hyphenation patterns for Church Slavonic (also known as Church Slavic, Old Church Slavonic, Old Slavonic).

The hyphenation dictionary is based on the Church Slavonic hyphenation patterns for TeX created by Aleksandr Andreev and Mike Kroutikov. See the GitHub repository for more information.

The spelling dictionary is based on the Church Slavonic dictionary for Hunspell developed by Aleksandr Andreev. See the GitHub repository for more information. Both require LibreOffice 5.0 or newer.

Bugs

There are bugs with case folding and word boundary recognition for Cyrillic characters in LibreOffice. These may result in some words begin treated as misspelled. It is hoped that some of these issues will be fixed in LibreOffice 6.0.

Other Information

The spell-checker does not provide any morphology information or stemming functionality.

Numerals only from а҃ to ҂ѳцч҃ѳ are recognized.

This spell-checker is not intended to be prescriptive or exhaustive. It is only provided as an aid for those typesetting Church Slavic texts or processing Church Slavic texts through OCR software.
